After Church Services

Everything will be provided

Thrivent Financial for Lutherans is supporting our project of receiving donations of dog food to be delivered to Ready 2 Rescue, an organization that facilitates the placement of rescued animals. Mr. Bob Clayton will be joining us that Sunday and will be receiving our donations.

Any brand or size of quality dog food will be greatly appreciated; however, the need for Large Breed dog food is the greatest. Donations of dog food are encouraged; however, designated cash donations will be acceptéd and used to buy dog food to assist those of you who would prefer not to wrestle large bags of dog food. Cash donations will gladly be accepted anytime; however, if cash donations are received before Rally Sunday, the dog food will be purchased and available for Mr. Clayton on September 10.

EAGLE SCOUT PROJECT Scout Andrew Long - the late Debra Peavey's younger son - approached Joy about an Eagle Scout project. Andrew proposed putting in a prayer garden on the northside of the church, Visiting with Andrew and his grandfather Manual - Debra's Father with whom Andrew now lives - about this proposal were Paul Manak, Jim Randolph, Bruce Kraft and Pr. Appeln This group recommended to Joy's Council that Joy work with Andrew to turn his proposal. into reality. The Council, at its August 20 meeting, voted to do this. Andrew is in the process of getting his Scouting Council's approval. If you would like more information about this, please speak with Paul Manak, Joy's property chair,
